![]() When the client came to pick up his X5, he was thrilled with the fit and finish of our install. As you can see in the pictures, the camera looks factory-installed. When it came time for a camera, we used a model that flushed into the lip above the rear license plate. It gives the driver a better representation of what to watch out for when backing up. ![]() In this particular X5, we have a solution that even gives the client what is known as “dynamic parking lines.” As he backs up and turns the steering wheel, the lines on the screen “bend” in the direction that the vehicle will travel. We worked up a proposal that he approved, so we set time to begin work on the BMW. As they talked, it was evident that integrating a camera to the color screen in the dash was the best solution. One of our staff checked into how the vehicle came equipped from the factory, as well as going over options with the customer. ![]() A client from Parkville came to Westminster Speed and Sound interested in a backup camera for his 2013 BMW X5. ![]()
